About the position

The Social Media Manager (Communications Specialist 4) for Gaming Education will be responsible for managing and growing the social media channels dedicated to Gaming Education. This role involves creating social strategies and campaigns, engaging with players, and reporting on social media metrics. The position requires collaboration with various teams including marketing, community, and product teams, as well as global educators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead content creation for Gaming Education social media channels.
  • Manage content calendars, including scheduling and posting content.
  • Draft copy for social media posts.
  • Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms.
  • Report on social media metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate with Gaming Education business, marketing, community, and product teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in social media strategy planning and goal setting.
  • 6+ years of implementation experience managing high volume social media channels for a well-known brand or product.
  • Experience working in the gaming sector.
  • Passion for education and social impact.
  • Understanding of community engagement and audience strategy.
  • Familiarity with using data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels.
  • Excellent collaboration, copywriting, and communication skills in English.
  • Competent with Office 365 and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, and native social media analytics experience preferred).
