About the position

The Social Media Strategy & Content Manager for Fine Wines at Constellation Brands is responsible for developing and executing dynamic, data-driven social media content and community management strategies for the company's fine wine brands. This role involves collaborating on social media playbooks, implementing comprehensive strategies, overseeing content sourcing, and managing community engagement to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on development of portfolio and brand-specific social media playbooks that guide strategy, set KPIs and reporting structure, and define processes & ways of working.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies and content calendars for each brand that align with company goals and cultural trends.
  • Oversee content sourcing, including translating brand ethos into effective creative briefs for content creation.
  • Manage social photo and video shoots, including determining shot lists and creating mood boards.
  • Personally shoot and edit product, lifestyle, and event photos, as well as create and edit GIFs and videos.
  • Provide feedback and manage revisions to deliver final brand-aligned content from multiple sources.
  • Write effective social media captions tailored by brand and platform.
  • Post regular, optimally timed content across all key channels according to each brand's strategy.
  • Leverage understanding of platforms for effective community management to grow online following and drive sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive cohesive strategies and promote cross-channel opportunities.
  • Consult on targeted paid amplification in partnership with DTC eComm and PR teams.
  • Utilize third-party tools to post, monitor, and engage across brands.
  • Identify, test, and adopt new social marketing and community outreach opportunities.
  • Set KPIs, measure results, and communicate impact to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience at an agency or in-house with a digitally native, high growth consumer brand(s)
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media strategies across multiple channels
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, channels, algorithms and paid amplification strategies
  • Ability to think strategically and develop measurable plans that support the company's business objectives
  • Proven ability in written and visual storytelling to drive engagement
  • Superior organizational, analytical, problem-solving, project and time management skills
  • Thorough proficiency in core project management software and content creation programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with third-party tools like Sprout Social
  • Ability to travel to hospitality centers in Napa, Paso Robles, etc. at least 1-2x per month
  • Flexible schedule to work weekends and evenings as required.
