About the position

The Social Media Manager at Bill Luke Marana is responsible for creating, managing, and executing social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. This role aims to enhance the brand's visibility, drive engagement, and generate leads through creative content and effective communication. The ideal candidate will be energetic, professional, and have a strong understanding of social media trends, while maintaining the company's commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design compelling social media content using Canva and in-app editing tools.
  • Strategize and implement innovative campaigns to boost engagement and grow the follower base.
  • Track and analyze the success of social media posts and campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Be comfortable appearing on camera for video content showcasing vehicles and dealership highlights.
  • Schedule monthly and/or bi-weekly check-ins with managers to share updates and gather content ideas.
  • Communicate with the sales manager to understand which vehicles or deals to highlight on social media.
  • Encourage feedback from colleagues on social media strategies and content performance.
  • Plan video content by outlining key shots and messages.
  • Use a smartphone or camera to shoot video, ensuring good lighting and sound quality.
  • Edit video content using tools like in-app TikTok/Instagram editors.
  • Optimize video content for each platform, considering factors like video length.
  • Regularly check each platform for comments and reply promptly.
  • Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing user-generated content.
  • Develop and use a mix of popular and niche hashtags to increase visibility.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 1 year of experience in social media management.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Proficiency in Canva and other content creation tools.
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
  • Comfortable being on camera for video content.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in managing customer interactions on social media.
