About the position

Jubilant Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our dynamic Social team. This role is critical for developing, executing, and reporting on client social media campaigns, with a strong emphasis on channel and content strategy aimed at enhancing brand awareness, generating targeted traffic, and increasing leads and sales. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a deep understanding of paid social campaigns and a passion for creating and implementing effective social media strategies. In this position, you will be responsible for managing social media communities, staying on top of trends, and developing engaging content that resonates with audiences. You will create, curate, manage, and publish original content across various organic social media channels, ensuring that all posts are relevant and engaging. Additionally, you will monitor audience interactions, respond to inquiries, and build brand trust while cultivating new leads. The Social Media Manager will also develop and execute social media advertising campaigns, which includes technical setup, creative development, trafficking, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting. Effective budget management is essential to maximize ROI and strategically allocate resources across campaigns and platforms. You will measure, analyze, and report on campaign goals and channel performance, while staying informed on best practices in social media. This role also involves leading client relationships on social media projects in collaboration with the Account Service team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive organic and paid social media strategies.
  • Manage timelines and social content calendars to develop and meet Social Media strategy requirements.
  • Create, curate, manage, and publish relevant, original content for organic social media channels, including captions/descriptions, relevant hashtags, and asset creation.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to audience in a way to build brand awareness, trust, and cultivate new leads.
  • Develop and execute social media advertising campaigns to help attract new customers and retarget existing audiences - including technical setup, creative, trafficking, testing/troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Manage campaign budgets effectively to maximize ROI and allocate resources strategically across various campaigns and platforms.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on goals and channel performance.
  • Stay connected and informed on the best practices for social media.
  • Help lead client relationships on social media projects along with the Account Service team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, journalism, public relations, business administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years' managing social media accounts and running paid social media campaigns for companies.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, both the organic and paid side.
  • Extensive knowledge of Meta's Business Manager, including all areas such as Business Suite, Ads Manager, Events Manager, Audiences, etc.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Proven track record of leading Social Media strategy for clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with third-party social media software, such as HeyOrca, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Loomly, or Social Report.
  • Creative and able to think outside of the box to create unique and winning social media marketing campaigns.
  • Master storyteller.
