About the position

The Social Media Manager at Movers+Shakers is responsible for driving creative impact and efficiency across various social media channels for a brand. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive social media content strategies, while also supervising the daily flow of content across platforms. The position emphasizes creativity, innovation, and leadership, aiming to enhance the brand's presence and engagement in the social media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Drive efficiency and creative impact across multiple social media channels for one brand.
  • Collaborate with account management, creative, data, and production teams to develop and execute holistic social media content plans.
  • Supervise the day-to-day flow of social content across all touchpoints and platforms.
  • Develop brand and content strategies that meet the goals of the brand.
  • Optimize content calendars for social media channels to support evergreen content and timely campaigns.
  • Advise and monitor social and community management tactics for key product launches and events.
  • Monitor content performance and develop analytics reports to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Work with the data team to present and optimize reports.
  • Identify trending opportunities and cultural moments for the brand.
  • Partner with the creative team to ideate relevant content that aligns with clients' strategies.
  • Support content creation to ensure timely delivery and maximize content opportunities.
  • Analyze competition and best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions.
  • Extend Movers+Shakers' position as an industry thought leader with insights and analytics.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide Community Managers and peers.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of client-facing social media management experience for a brand or strategy experience in a creative agency setting.
  • Extensive experience managing social media channels.
  • Strong experience in ideation and execution of strategic approaches.
  • Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads.
  • Experience creating stories, carousels, or static content for different platforms.
  • Experience with data, analytics, and content reporting.
  • Strong copywriting and ideation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership ability to guide and empower the team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
