About the position

The Social Media Manager for Credit Human's Marketing Technology Department is a pivotal role designed for a candidate who possesses a deep understanding of social media dynamics and a passion for serving a mission-driven organization. This position requires an individual who is not only a social media expert but also someone who is continuously refining their craft and staying abreast of social trends and channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing high-level social media strategies that align with the organization's omnichannel marketing approach, ultimately enhancing Credit Human's social presence and digital marketing efforts. In this role, the Social Media Manager will create and maintain an annual social media plan that identifies campaign initiatives and growth opportunities. This plan will incorporate both paid and organic tactics to meet departmental and credit union objectives while fostering community engagement online. The manager will set benchmarks for social media performance and measure progress toward annual goals related to engagement, reach, community growth, and lead acquisition. Additionally, the role involves creating and publishing original content—ranging from images and videos to written content and webinars—that is consistent with Credit Human's brand identity and mission. The manager will also ensure that all content complies with NCUA regulations and social media best practices. Effective communication is key in this position, as the Social Media Manager will engage with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews. Coordination with internal stakeholders will be essential to develop appropriate responses to customer inquiries. Furthermore, the manager will oversee the accuracy of location data across all Credit Human online listings and review sites, ensuring that customers receive reliable information. This role thrives in a dynamic team environment, requiring a self-motivated individual who is eager to push social media initiatives in innovative ways to support Credit Human's mission and drive new business opportunities. Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of social media marketing experience are encouraged to apply immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain an annual social media plan identifying campaign initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Set social media benchmarks and measure progress toward annual goals for engagement, reach, community growth, and lead acquisition.
  • Create and publish original social media content (images, videos, written content, webinars) consistent with brand identity and mission.
  • Ensure content complies with NCUA regulations and social media best practices.
  • Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews, coordinating with internal stakeholders for responses.
  • Coordinate with the Member Service Center for servicing inquiries follow-up.
  • Manage location data across all Credit Human online listings and review sites.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Social Media Marketing experience.
  • In-depth understanding of YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and engagement on social media platforms.
  • Ability to create and edit content, including writing captions and creating graphics and videos.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to operate independently.
