About the position

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and support our corporate and sales teams. This role will work closely with the Marketing, Analytics, and Sales departments to ensure a cohesive approach to social media engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience running both organic and paid social media campaigns, demonstrating a strong understanding of how to leverage these platforms effectively to drive brand awareness and lead generation. In this position, the Social Media Manager will develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy and social calendar, ensuring that all content aligns with the company's branding and marketing goals. The role requires collaboration with the analytics team to develop, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect the success of social media initiatives. The manager will oversee the creation of engaging content, working closely with copywriters and designers to ensure that all posts are visually appealing and resonate with the target audience. Staying up to date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends is crucial for this role. The Social Media Manager will utilize various social media marketing tools such as Desygner, Hootsuite, and BombBomb to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Additionally, the manager will communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network that can amplify the company's message and reach. Finally, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for communicating the social strategy and results to senior management, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress and outcomes. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS degree in Marketing or a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience as a social media specialist, manager, or similar role
  • 2+ years of organic and paid social media strategy experience
  • Expert knowledge of mainstream social platforms and best practices
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads from Social Media platforms
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
