About the position

The Social Media Manager at Reflex Media is responsible for leading the company's social media strategy and overseeing a small team dedicated to creating engaging content across various platforms. This role involves managing social media campaigns, scheduling posts, and ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals while driving growth in engagement and brand presence. The Social Media Manager will also play a key role in content creation, including appearing in videos, and will communicate deliverables to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a small social media team for cohesive and consistent content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Create engaging, UGC-style social media content that aligns with the company's voice, including featuring yourself in videos.
  • Drive growth in engagement, audience size, and brand presence.
  • Develop brand awareness and execute social strategy.
  • Monitor trending topics and viral content.
  • Utilize tools like CapCut and Canva for content creation.
  • Manage a consistent social content calendar.
  • Oversee copy for all social channels.
  • Monitor social metrics and prepare performance reports.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the social team for high-quality, creative output.

Requirements

  • 1 year minimum management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of current social media platforms and trends.
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Between 3-5 years of experience in Social Media.
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in creative content.
  • Experience working with UGC creators and influencers.
