The purpose of this position is to advance the prominence of Kansas State University and support strategic plan goals by communicating stories, news, and information about the university to a wide range of audiences. This position is responsible for developing content across all social and digital media platforms and for writing content for distribution through a wide range of methods. It requires close collaboration with all units within the Division of Communications and Marketing and other areas of the university to ensure coordination and overall consistency in voice and message. The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the university's online presence and engagement with various stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, and the general public. This role is essential in crafting the narrative of the university and ensuring that its achievements and initiatives are effectively communicated to the community.
