About the position

Later is seeking a talented and creative Community Manager / Social Media Manager to enhance content creation and community engagement for clients' brands on social media. This role is pivotal in ensuring a strong and dynamic online presence, focusing on visually appealing content and fostering positive interactions within online communities.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing and compelling content for various social media platforms including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Partner with the client's influencer marketing team to bring content to life by briefing creators and influencers.
  • Analyze content performance and community engagement metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes in collaboration with the strategy team.
  • Manage and nurture online communities, responding to comments and messages, and fostering positive interactions with followers.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into content creation to keep clients' brands relevant and engaging.
  • Lead and manage the success and outcomes of all customers by establishing and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to brainstorm and produce innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years proven experience as a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role with a strong focus on content creation and community engagement.
  • Proven track record of independently managing and growing a social media presence for a large B2C brand.
  • Excellent content creation skills including exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences.
  • Ability to independently create basic videos and graphics and have a natural and engaging presence when on camera.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leveraging AI to streamline processes and development of materials in a streamlined and consistent way.
  • Comfortable digging into performance data and analysis and using those insights to adjust strategy and report on overall impact.
  • A natural desire to be active on social media, with candidates who live and breathe social media trends.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
