The Social Media Manager plays a crucial role within the North American marketing and communications team at IDEX. This position is primarily responsible for creating engaging social media content, with a strong emphasis on video production, and distributing this content across various social media platforms. The Social Media Manager acts as the community manager, serving as the primary point of contact for social media followers and technology solution early adopters, such as SAM, BOOST, E3 Connect, and Captium users. The overarching goal of this role is to amplify the story of IDEX's family of brands and engage with followers as they interact with the content. In alignment with targeted growth initiatives that support business objectives, the Social Media Manager champions social funnel marketing. This involves expanding the reach of IDEX's social content, directing visitors to IDEX's website, and nurturing these prospects into qualified leads. The role requires a strategic mindset to manage and oversee all social media content, ensuring that the broader marketing and content strategy is effectively implemented across social media channels. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for planning, developing, and managing the social media strategy for the IDEX Fire and Safety Group. This includes creating and managing a content calendar, participating in visual design strategies, and staying updated with the latest social media best practices and trends. Collaboration with various departments, such as product management, sales, engineering, finance, and operations, is essential to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.
