About the position
ACC is looking for a Social Media Manager who can transform our social channels into a destination. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media as both an art and a science, and will be responsible for managing the social content process from start to finish. This includes developing monthly content calendars and creating engaging content for various platforms. The role requires a proactive approach to growing our social following and engaging with our audience, as well as collaborating with our agencies to amplify their stories. The Social Media Manager will also need to stay ahead of trends and analyze performance to continuously improve our social media strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the social content process end-to-end for all of our agencies.
- Develop monthly content calendars and create engaging content for every platform.
- Craft posts that resonate with our audience, including videos and written content.
- Grow our social following and engage with our audience effectively.
- Collaborate with agencies to amplify their stories through campaigns and cultural moments.
- Stay ahead of trends and cultural shifts in social media.
- Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media management or a related field.
- Strong instincts for creating compelling content and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with major social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter (X), Threads, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to convey a brand's personality.
- Ability to work quickly, think creatively, and adapt to changes.
- Comfortable using analytics tools to assess performance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience growing a brand's social following significantly.
- A good sense of humor and familiarity with internet memes.
- Ownership of ASMR-style microphones or similar equipment.
