We are currently seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness and effectively engaging our audience. This position requires a creative individual who can manage content across various platforms and drive traffic to our website and physical stores. As a Social Media Manager, you will create and manage social media content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google Business. You will also develop strategies to enhance online traffic and foot traffic to our stores, run ads within a specified monthly budget, and schedule photoshoots as needed. Monitoring and analyzing social media performance metrics will be crucial to your role, as will collaborating with the owners and team to ensure brand consistency. Staying updated with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications is essential for success in this position. Additionally, you must be willing to travel to our locations in Pioneertown, CA, and Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA, to capture content or oversee photoshoots. We offer free lodging in our Airbnb in Yucca Valley if needed, making it easier for you to fulfill your responsibilities while enjoying the beauty of California.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage social media content for various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google Business.
  • Develop strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and foot traffic to stores.
  • Run ads within the monthly budget provided.
  • Schedule photoshoots with shot lists when needed within the provided budget.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the owners and team to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Experience in the skincare/beauty industry is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Experience with video editing software and social media marketing.
  • Strong video/photography skills.
  • Ability to create engaging content.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship management abilities.
