The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing multiple social media platforms for three respective brands. This role encompasses a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest. The Social Media Manager will develop, present, and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored for all active platforms. A significant part of this role involves content creation, which includes compiling monthly content calendars that feature both visuals and copywriting. The manager will be responsible for posting all approved content, boosting posts to reach targeted audiences, and engaging in daily community management. In addition to content management, the Social Media Manager will monitor industry trends and keep a close eye on competitors to ensure the brands remain competitive in the social media landscape. Reporting is also a key component of this position, as the manager will be responsible for analyzing and presenting data and analytics related to social media performance. The Social Media Manager will supervise and maintain all social media-related tasks for the brands, requiring a sound knowledge and experience to take ownership and accountability for the organization’s social media activities. The Media Department is structured around seven Media Pillars: Strategies, Brand Collateral, Media Publicity, Social Media, Public Forums, Direct Marketing, and Internal Communications. While the primary focus will be on Social Media, the Social Media Manager will also engage with other Media Pillars as needed. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing creative social media strategies, assisting in budget forecasting, conducting competitor analysis, copywriting for social media posts, managing a content library, creating engaging multimedia content, compiling monthly social media calendars, and reporting on performance metrics. The role also involves understanding the annual public forums schedule to align social media posts with relevant events and educating staff on effective social media use within the company.
