About the position

The Social Media Manager at SkinTech Spa is responsible for enhancing the spa's online presence and customer engagement through effective social media strategies. This role involves managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to drive brand awareness and customer relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management and video editing, contributing to the overall marketing efforts of the spa as it expands to a new location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
  • Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, images, videos, and written posts.
  • Manage social media accounts and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor social media analytics and create reports to track and analyze performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to align social media strategy with business objectives.
  • Edit video content for social media channels, including but not limited to promotional videos, tutorials, and training videos.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices to continually improve social media strategy and content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and video editing
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and metrics to track and analyze performance.

  • Experience managing social media for Spa/Medspa/Salon
  • Experience creating campaigns to generate Spa/medspa/salon leads
