About the position

Blueland is seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media Manager to lead our presence across all social platforms, with a priority on Instagram and TikTok. You'll be responsible for crafting engaging content, building community, and driving brand growth on channels. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategy, and analytics to optimize for performance and ensure that the Blueland brand is properly brought to life in a culturally relevant and engaging way. This role will report to the Director of Social and Integrated Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Create and manage a content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments
  • Craft captivating captions, videos, and visuals that reflect Blueland's brand voice and engage our community
  • Manage content creator relationships and collaborate with brand advocates to amplify brand reach
  • Own relationships with agency partners and manage day to day work with influencer programs
  • Track and analyze key metrics (engagement, impressions, growth, etc.) and optimize content based on performance
  • Conduct A/B tests to understand what formats and content resonate with our audience
  • Use insights to recommend and implement improvements to social strategy
  • Ensure all content aligns with Blueland's tone of voice - bold, optimistic, and mission-driven
  • Work collaboratively across brand marketing, growth marketing, creative, digital, product and retail teams to support company initiatives on social media
  • Assist larger strategic plans with competitive research, landscape analysis and audits that take social trends and leverage relevant opportunities to keep Blueland at the forefront of cultural conversations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in consumer brands or startups
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content strategies (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Sprout Social, Later, Google Analytics) and social media reporting
  • Proficiency in AI tools (like ChatGPT) to enhance efficiency and optimized content
  • Ability to write compelling, on-brand copy and a knack for storytelling
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with influencers or managing influencer programs
