The Social Media & Marketing Content Creator at Gear Club Direct is responsible for producing high-quality content to enhance the company's online presence. This part-time role involves updating existing materials, generating new content, and finding innovative ways to engage consumers through various platforms. The position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to effectively promote the company's offerings and reach target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company social media, website, blogs, and marketing materials.
  • Creating marketing campaigns, writing blogs, and producing unique and engaging video posts.
  • Conducting research to understand current trends and contextualizing findings for content creation.
  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Using social media to engage consumers, respond to inquiries, and promote company initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives and solve problems.
  • Monitoring social media and website metrics to assess performance.
  • Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
  • Suggesting new promotional strategies to reach consumers.

Requirements

  • Experience creating strong, engaging, and unique content on all social media platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capacity to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
  • Experience in assembling and writing copy for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to write engaging titles and subtitles.
  • Experience conducting market research to identify trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe or Canva.
  • 2 years of experience in social media marketing.
