About the position

Curious BRDS is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media Marketing / Content Manager. This full-time position is primarily focused on managing social media content for our artists while also providing an opportunity to learn various marketing tools and strategies relevant to the music industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing social content calendars, researching social media trends, and brainstorming content ideas on a weekly basis. Additionally, the role involves editing videos for social media use, posting content across all social accounts, and engaging with fans to foster a strong online community. The candidate will also be tasked with creating detailed analytic reports to track the performance of social media campaigns and will be expected to assist with any other needs our clients may have. We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about music but also possesses a deep understanding of the current social media landscape and best practices. The ideal candidate should be organized, punctual, and have a strong work ethic, willing to put in the necessary hours to succeed in this competitive field. Experience in the music industry or a degree in Music Business is preferred, along with proficiency in video editing and graphic design. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe applications are essential for this role. This position requires the candidate to be based in Nashville and to work in the office Monday through Friday, with the possibility of on-call work and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in the music industry or a Music Business degree

  • Strong and respectful communication skills
  • Ability to work hard and put in late hours when necessary
