About the position

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development and fun! We offer professionally designed sessions that focus on basic soccer skills, character-building, and child development. Soccer Shots has earned the title of “#1 in Children's Fitness” and continues to expand in communities nationwide. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help enhance our brand presence, engagement, and outreach. The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies across all social media platforms and other channels. This individual will also coach soccer classes for children ages 2-10 at various times during the week, contributing directly to the quality of our programming and the Soccer Shots mission. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about marketing, social media, and working with children in a fun, active environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, video) across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, etc.).
• Design and produce high-quality, on-brand digital content (graphics, photos, videos) for social media, email campaigns, website, and other marketing materials.
• Take photos and videos at our partner locations all over the Greater Memphis Area.
• Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely and consistent messaging.
• Create and execute email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and program enrollment.
• Manage and segment customer databases for targeted communication.
• Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies to improve results.
• Develop partnerships with local community organizations, schools, and influencers to increase Soccer Shots' visibility.
• Coordinate and participate in community events to promote the Soccer Shots program.
• Identify and engage with potential brand ambassadors or influencers.
• Track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns and social media platforms.
• Provide regular reports on key metrics and suggest actionable insights for improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Soccer Shots innovative.
• Work closely with the operations and coaching teams to align messaging and marketing efforts.
• Assist in the development of recruitment materials and campaigns for Soccer Shots coaches.
• Lead and coach soccer sessions for children ages 2-10, ensuring a fun, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Deliver Soccer Shots' curriculum, emphasizing soccer skills, character development, and physical fitness.
• Build rapport with children and their families while maintaining high standards for program quality and safety.
• Act as a brand ambassador in the field, engaging with families and fostering strong community relationships.

Requirements

• Experience in social media management and marketing strategies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to create engaging content across various platforms.
• Experience with email marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Passion for working with children and promoting physical fitness.
