About the position

The San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing & Digital Production Manager to lead their social media initiatives and digital content production. This role involves managing all social media platforms, creating high-quality video and podcast content, and driving engagement with SDAR's mission and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, video editing, and community engagement, with a focus on real estate marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create dynamic Instagram Reels and live feeds to showcase SDAR events and initiatives.
  • Utilize video editing tools to create high-quality video content for social media.
  • Oversee SDAR's podcast strategy, including content planning, recording, editing, and publishing.
  • Collaborate with the event marketing team to provide social media coverage for events, including live posting and video production.
  • Manage end-to-end production for digital content, including video, podcast, and graphic materials.
  • Create and curate engaging content that aligns with SDAR's brand and voice.
  • Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to promote SDAR's services and events.
  • Engage with SDAR's online community by responding to comments and fostering conversations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Monitor social media performance and provide regular reports to the Director of Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of social media management experience (8+ years for the Senior Manager role).
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills tailored for social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
  • Experience with social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the real estate industry or with real estate-related organizations.
  • Experience using Sprout Social or similar social media management software.
  • Experience managing live video content, Instagram Reels, podcast production, and video editing.
