The Social Media Lead at 33 USA Inc. is a pivotal client-facing role that oversees the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns specifically tailored for entertainment productions. This position requires a strategic mindset to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that each campaign aligns with the unique goals of the respective productions. The Social Media Lead will be responsible for posting on official websites and various social media platforms on behalf of the productions, as well as conducting thorough analysis and reporting on campaign performance. The role also involves planning and production of advertising operations, making it essential for the candidate to have a strong grasp of both creative and analytical aspects of social media marketing. In addition to campaign management, the Social Media Lead will play a crucial role in team leadership. This includes coaching team members to foster their personal and professional growth, ensuring that the team operates effectively and efficiently. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Social Media Lead will work closely with the Social Media Manager and the Influencer Marketing Group to support the company's overarching social media marketing initiatives. The position reports primarily to the Social Media Manager, with occasional reporting to the CEO, highlighting the importance of this role within the company’s structure. The Social Media Lead will also be responsible for developing client proposals, strategizing and planning campaigns, implementing submission plans, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms. Engaging with users and responding to inquiries is also a critical part of the role, as is the development of high-quality content that resonates with target audiences. The candidate will need to collect and analyze data to track campaign performance, presenting findings to clients in a clear and effective manner. Overall, this position is designed for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about social media and entertainment marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the development of client proposals for social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and the Influencer Marketing Group to create effective and persuasive proposals.
  • Lead, plan and execute social media campaigns, ensuring they meet client goals.
  • Develop submission plans for social media campaigns and lead the team in implementing them.
  • Engage with users and respond to social media inquiries, messages, and comments.
  • Develop, curate, and publish content across various social media platforms.
  • Collect and analyze data related to social media marketing campaigns to track performance.
  • Independently develop social media reports to present to clients.
  • Lead the Social Media Account Management Group, collaborating with team members on day-to-day operations.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for team members and coach them accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of Social Media related project management experience, in-house or with an agency.
  • 4-5 years of experience supervising a team at a Japanese entertainment related company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiar with social media trends and current entertainment.
  • Heavy user of social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) both privately and professionally.
  • Likes and is familiar with Japanese Anime/Manga.
  • Proficiency in Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
