About the position

The Social Media Marketing Manager at Retire Simply will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at enhancing the company's online visibility and engagement. This role requires a creative thinker who is adept at leveraging social media trends to promote the brand and connect with the audience effectively. The manager will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that all content aligns with the company's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and enhances our digital presence across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging, high-quality content (posts, graphics, videos, etc.) that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
  • Oversee daily management of social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments/messages, and monitoring performance.
  • Plan and run paid social media ad campaigns to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and audience engagement. Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Grow and nurture our social media community by engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and fostering conversations that build relationships.
  • Ensure all content reflects Retire Simply's values, voice, and branding guidelines across all platforms.
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously optimize strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Marketer/Manager or similar role.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends.
  • Proficiency in content creation, graphic design, and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
  • Experience with social media advertising, particularly on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
