About the position

Powerstation Events is looking for a talented and experienced Social Media/Marketing Manager to join their creative team. This role focuses on developing and managing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and leading a team of interns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and marketing, particularly within the event management industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create engaging and shareable content that aligns with the company's brand and attracts a target audience.
• Monitor social media trends, track analytics, and adjust strategies to optimize performance.
• Design visually appealing and effective graphics for advertisements, social media posts, client presentations, and event materials.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure cohesive branding across all platforms.
• Stay updated on design trends and incorporate innovative design elements into materials.
• Lead and inspire a team of social media interns, providing guidance and support for consistent content production.
• Develop and execute engaging email marketing campaigns through Constant Contact, creating visually appealing newsletters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and marketing, preferably in the event or entertainment industry.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective social media strategies.
• Experience managing a team and fostering a positive work culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
