About the position

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance the company's online presence. This role involves managing social media accounts, designing marketing materials, and analyzing website performance to drive traffic and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, graphic design, and social media management, with a focus on the travel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create and design flyers, brochures, and posts/reels for social media.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic to the company's website and social media platforms.
  • Manage website, monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and optimize content for various digital channels, including newsletters, blogs, emails, and landing pages.
  • Implement email & WhatsApp marketing campaigns.
  • Manage social media accounts, including creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics.

Requirements

  • Expert in graphic designing & using tools like CANVA.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media advertising (SEO, SEM knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficient in using tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social media management platforms.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS (content management system) is a plus.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
  • Experience with performance marketing campaigns & influencer marketing is a plus.
  • Travel industry experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in multiple languages preferred. Hindi is mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
