Microchip USA is a fast-growing technology distributor headquartered in Tampa, FL. We are a crucial supplier for some of the world's largest manufacturers, sourcing and distributing high-end electronic components like semiconductors, integrated circuits, FPGAs, MCUs, and many more. In this role, you will improve Microchip USA's social media presence and assist in advancing the marketing department. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, tracking, reporting, and analyzing organic performance data on our social media platforms using media tools to make data-driven decisions that optimize and improve organic social media engagement and followers in our target audience. You will be responsible for researching the market for trends, news, keywords, hashtags, and innovative ways to promote our services for social media improvement efforts. You will collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to create content for the website. Our ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, a passion for data analysis, innovative thinking abilities, and professional communication skills. They should also enjoy working in an office environment and interacting with other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Create content that promotes our services and increases engagement with our target audience.
  • Optimize and maintain social media marketing strategies using a data-centric approach.
  • Monitor media platforms and suggest/implement user engagement optimization strategies.
  • Design content for company events, merchandise, and campaigns.
  • Create social KPI reports and present the data to the leadership team.
  • Follow and maintain company brand guidelines.
  • Continuous knowledge of the latest social media platforms, technologies, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience creating and editing videos and images for platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Youtube, and Pinterest.
  • At least 2 years of Content and Strategy planning and implementation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in copywriting.
  • At least 2 years of analyzing social media KPIs.
  • Experience using advanced camera equipment and set-ups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
