About the position

The Social Media Coordinator at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) plays a crucial role in implementing the organization's social media strategy. This position focuses on managing day-to-day social media projects, fostering engagement across various platforms, and ensuring brand consistency while supporting broader destination objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day projects for production and strategic team initiatives, including liaising and scheduling with partners.
  • Assist with creating the social media calendar for all platforms.
  • Schedule daily social media posts using relevant management tools.
  • Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and messages, and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Administer the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to archive all social assets with appropriate metadata.
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain brand consistency across all social channels.
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends and best practices, contributing innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • Experience in social media management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
