About the position

The Social Media Specialist at Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for managing and moderating the brand's social media accounts, engaging with guests in real-time, and making strategic decisions regarding social media initiatives. This role involves collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance the brand's online presence and ensure all content aligns with company standards. The position requires a proactive approach to crisis management and content strategy, making it essential for the candidate to possess strong communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and engage with guests on behalf of the brand in real time.
• Make in-the-moment decisions on crisis moderation, including identifying potential online crises and recommending resolution strategies.
• Research and recommend strategies for new social media initiatives, including governance policies.
• Route issues to appropriate business groups for assistance with moderation resolutions, owning end-to-end case resolution.
• Ideate and recommend content for the brand based on company-wide strategic priorities.
• Support workflows to route social media content to appropriate departments for approval.
• Ensure all social media content meets brand standards and proactively flag opportunities.
• Partner with internal and external partners to bring campaign visions to life across social media networks.
• Make strategic recommendations for social media campaign execution.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of social media experience.
• Expertise in tools such as Sprinklr and Canva.
• Strong oral communication skills with an understanding of audience communication.
• Ability to work in a team and assist in executing social media requests promptly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable handling sensitive guest concerns.
• Solid understanding of MS Office applications.
