About the position

The Social Media Specialist at American Gonzo Food Corp is responsible for managing social media accounts for a collection of restaurants. This role focuses on enhancing the Marketing Department through storytelling, social media engagement, content creation, and analytics. The position requires a creative and organized individual who is passionate about the restaurant industry and skilled in photo and video content creation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day social media activity for the restaurants.
• Drive engagement and increase followership across all social channels.
• Produce eye-catching content and engaging caption copy for social media.
• Design, execute, and share monthly social media dashboards reporting on KPIs and insights.
• Collaborate with the Director of Creative Services to implement social media strategies.
• Create content that successfully engages the online community.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in social media management.
• Strong video, photography, and written communication skills.
• Deep passion for the food industry with excellent design aesthetic and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills to find and implement solutions that deliver results.
• Detail-oriented multi-tasker with strong project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Experience in marketing is preferred.
