About the position

Our social media team is looking for an experienced, creative, and talented content creator! This person will develop high quality, aesthetically pleasing and engaging content for a variety of our brands on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Twitter, with our focus being TikTok and Instagram reels. This will include developing creative ideas and shooting your own video and photography content, along with other on-demand projects. The ideal candidate will proactively brainstorm and develop original, creative, compelling, storytelling, and trending content. They will be responsible for shooting on-the-fly photos and high-quality short videos, creating engaging, informative, and entertaining content for a variety of our brands to use on their social media channels. Additionally, the content creator will create high-quality short videos that are engaging, informative, and entertaining for internal company videos. Participation in creative briefings is essential, where the candidate will offer new and exciting ideas. The role requires collaboration and close work with team members, as well as the ability to work independently to meet team goals. Editing high-quality video and photo content is a key responsibility, along with identifying and participating in trends. The candidate must think creatively and translate those ideas into engaging pieces of digital content, including photo, video, and simple graphics.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a content creator or similar role in social media.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video and photography skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software and photo editing tools.
• Ability to shoot high-quality video and photography content.
• Excellent storytelling and creative thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with graphic design software.
• Knowledge of social media analytics and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and best practices.
