About the position

The Social Robin is seeking a passionate and creative Video Editor to join their team. This part-time role involves collaborating with a dynamic group of creative professionals to produce engaging video content that enhances clients' social media presence. The position emphasizes storytelling through video, utilizing industry-standard software, and staying ahead of social media trends.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality video content that aligns with client visions.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to brainstorm ideas and create storyboards for new video concepts.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Mister Horse plugins to enhance videos with graphics, sounds, and special effects.
• Research and stay updated on industry trends and social media insights to keep content fresh.
• Manage video content scheduling and analytics using tools like Planoly and Social Champ.
• Participate in on-site shoots to capture content, if skilled in photography.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in social media management.
• 3 years of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills, including short-form and long-form content.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with social media marketing principles.
• Skills in photography for on-site shoots.
