About the position

The Social Needs & Health IT Project Manager (PM3) at the Oregon Health Authority is a full-time management position responsible for developing and overseeing complex project plans related to Health Information Technology (HIT), Community Information Exchange (CIE), and social needs services. This role involves managing multiple projects across various teams, ensuring effective execution, tracking progress, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans for HIT, CIE, and social needs initiatives.
• Track project efforts, document progress, and maintain schedules.
• Manage risks and issues from project initiation to closure.
• Oversee programmatic activities related to CIE, SHNAP, and HIT teams.
• Train staff on project management systems and methodologies.
• Maintain subject matter expertise to provide effective project management across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field AND four years of professional-level experience; OR Project Management Professional Certification AND two years of professional-level experience; OR Six years of professional-level experience AND an Oregon Project Management Associate Certification; OR Seven years of professional-level experience.
