Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle is seeking a talented Social Media Operations Manager to support the social operations and administration of social platforms and tools for the AWS Social Media team. This role involves working across the Worldwide Marketing organization to implement and support social operating processes and procedures that enhance social marketing efforts. The successful candidate will manage critical AWS social media tools and processes, including internal training and support, employee use of social media, and publishing tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the social media landscape, experience in administering brand accounts on various social platforms, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills, the ability to influence others, and cross-functional leadership are essential. This position requires an individual who can navigate the day-to-day issues of global social media properties while also thinking strategically about industry trends and emerging platforms. Key responsibilities include the administration of the AWS Sprinklr environment, managing support tickets and requests from AWS social media users, overseeing 75+ AWS brand social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter/X, and defining best practices and standard operating procedures. The role also involves developing operational processes, hosting training for employees, and ensuring compliance with security protocols in partnership with internal teams. The AWS Social Media Team is part of the AWS Worldwide Marketing organization, responsible for defining the social media brand marketing strategy, overseeing brand style and voice, and managing social media policies and performance audits. The team plays a crucial role in planning and executing strategic social campaigns in collaboration with various AWS teams.
