About the position

The Law Office of Charles F. Hall, IV is seeking a dedicated Social Security Paralegal to join our established and growing Social Security Disability Law firm. This position is crucial as we handle an increasing caseload, and we are looking for a legal professional who can effectively assist our attorney and supervising paralegal. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the field and will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of our legal services. In this role, you will assist in completing paperwork, writing letters, drafting appeals and applications, and preparing clients and documents for hearings. You will also be responsible for requesting medical records and providing excellent customer service to our clients. The paralegal will play a significant role in case development and management, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner. We are looking for someone with special skills including computer proficiency, superb communication abilities, and reliable attendance. Solid letter writing skills and a good grasp of proper grammar and punctuation are essential. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is a must, as is the capability to handle clients and potential clients from diverse backgrounds and personalities. Pay for this position will depend on experience, education, and work ethic, and full-time employees will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorney and supervising paralegal with completing paperwork.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in Social Security Disability law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for at least one year.
  • Four years of experience in a legal assistant or law firm setting.
  • Four years of customer service experience.

  • Associate's degree in a related field (preferred).
