About the position

The Social Work Clinical Supervisor at The Jewish Board is responsible for overseeing clinical services and supervising Social Work Residents in evidence-based treatment models. This role involves providing high-quality supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating professional development for residents while delivering compassionate care to clients in the community.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee clinical services using evidence-based models of care.
• Supervise and provide feedback to Social Work Residents individually and in groups.
• Ensure timely access to quality clinical services for clients.
• Participate in evidence-based practice training and support implementation by Social Work Residents.
• Conduct weekly supervision sessions with Social Work Residents.
• Provide direct services to clients, including intakes and crisis interventions.
• Collaborate with program leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and follow up on program incidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Facilitate team meetings and case conferences as part of program operations.
• Assist in recruiting and orienting new Social Work Residents.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work.
• New York State clinical licensure in social work (LCSW).
• Minimum of 3 years prior clinical experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Solid clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
