About the position

The MSW Recruiter and Contract Faculty Member's primary role will be to promote and support Seton Hall University's MSW Advanced Standing Partnership and all MSW program options. This position is crucial for recruiting students both in the U.S. and international markets, aiming to yield the most promising talent from these diverse markets. The recruiter will implement a strategic recruiting plan designed to increase the diversity, quality, and overall graduate enrollment of the Seton Hall MSW program. This faculty position requires a full-time, 12-month, in-person commitment, emphasizing the importance of being present on campus to engage with prospective students and partners effectively. Depending on the need and availability, the recruiter may also have the opportunity to teach occasional courses in the Social Work programs, thereby contributing to the academic environment of the university. Seton Hall University, the oldest Catholic diocesan university in the United States, is located 14 miles west of Manhattan in South Orange, NJ. Responsibilities

  • Assist with partner and student recruitment, Open Houses, enrollment data management
  • Planning/implementing Summer Residency/Orientation
  • Strategize Communication plan from all parts of the admissions funnel
  • Reporting & Data analysis, Program Evaluation
  • As needed, teach courses in Social Work as assigned by the Chairperson.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Written communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • DSW or PhD preferred
  • Data driven and familiarity with reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proven ability to learn and use new technology, including social media and university systems
  • Able and willing to work non-standard/varied working hours and to travel independently
