About the position
The Social Worker I/II position is part of the Social Services Agency in Orange County, which administers various human services programs. Responsibilities
- Partner with families to ensure children live in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes.
- Facilitate achievement of self-sufficiency for CalWORKs and WTW participants.
- Provide domestic services, personal care, and protective supervision to eligible individuals in their homes.
- Respond to allegations of elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect.
- Conduct home visits and transport clients as necessary.
Requirements
- Valid California driver's license.
- Ability to maintain a county-approved mode of transportation.
- Background clearance check from California Department of Social Services and Community Care Licensing.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of County social services programs, policies, rules, codes, and regulations.
- Experience in case management and utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
