About the position

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to employees.
  • Assist in the development of employees through training and support.
  • Document services provided in a neat, legible, accurate, objective, and consistent manner.
  • Travel to various locations in the community as required for the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or other human service program approved by the Social Worker Section of the DSPS guidelines.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or closely related field is preferred.
  • Two years of experience working in Human Services or Social Work field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to perform essential duties.
  • Certified or licensed social worker (CSW, APSW, LISW, LCSW) or ability to become licensed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a community environment (home, office, community, etc.).
  • Ability to react appropriately in times of crisis that may include verbal aggression.
