About the position
Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Sociology courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom.
Requirements
- M. S. in Sociology or M.A. in Anthropology or Master's Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology
- Minimum of 2 years college teaching experience within the discipline
- Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred
- Previous online instruction required where appropriate
- Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
