About the position

The Soft Serve Technician at Fourteen Foods is responsible for maintaining and servicing soft serve and misty machines across multiple store locations. This entry-level position involves performing weekly breakdowns, cleaning, and reassembling equipment, ensuring proper sanitation, and training store staff on machine maintenance. The role also includes inventory management and assisting with various tasks to support store operations, all while promoting customer satisfaction and the company's mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly breakdowns of soft serve and misty machines, including cleaning, reassembly, sanitation, and start-up.
• Train store staff on proper sanitation of soft serve machines between technician visits.
• Maintain an inventory of soft serve and misty machine parts at each store location.
• Control weeds and litter in landscaping and parking lot areas.
• Assist with power washing, window cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
• Communicate issues and leave visit reports with the store manager after each visit.
• Support operations as a Team Member during lunch hours if needed.
• Promote the company's mission and values.
• Ensure high customer and client satisfaction.
• Perform snow shoveling as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication skills to report issues and interact with store personnel.
• Team-oriented mindset to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.

• Experience in food service or equipment maintenance is a plus.
