About the position

As a Senior Developer at our client, a leading aerospace and technology company, you will play a crucial role in the Digital Solutions department, specifically supporting the Support and Service portal team. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration skills to effectively contribute to the development and maintenance of software components on the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, implementing, and supporting various software components, ensuring seamless integration with multiple systems. Your role will also involve providing technical expertise in planning, estimation, and scheduling tasks, working closely with the Solution Architect to define comprehensive end-to-end solutions. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will contribute to the leadership of the technical team, guiding their work on the Salesforce CRM platform. This includes coaching team members and establishing best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team. You will also take ownership of the support and maintenance of a mission-critical website/system that operates 24x7x365, which may require being part of an on-call team to address any urgent issues that arise. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components on the Salesforce platform with integrations to multiple systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and professional experience in planning, estimation, and scheduling tasks.
  • Work with the Solution Architect to define end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to leadership of the technical team's work on the Salesforce CRM platform, including coaching and establishing best practices.
  • Own the support and maintenance of a mission-critical 24x7x365 website/system (on-call team).

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Software Programming.
  • Full Stack development experience using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Experience leading the development of critical customer-facing websites.
  • Salesforce platform and development experience.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including the use of JIRA.
