About the position

The Software Application Developer role at SPECTRAFORCE involves developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using modern technologies such as Node.js, React, and TypeScript. The position requires expertise in server-side logic, API development, and custom AI bot creation for enterprise document storage systems. The developer will also work with Power Platform tools and integrate business data from various sources, contributing to continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain intuitive, responsive web applications using Node.js, React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement scalable, secure and efficient server-side logic and APIs using Node.js.
• Develop custom AI Bots for searching documents and information stored in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and other enterprise document storage systems.
• Develop applications using Power Automate, Power Flow and Power Apps (Power Platform) and build integrations for accessing business data in AWS data lake, Salesforce, and Maximo.
• Design and develop custom SharePoint (SPFX) solutions based on business requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in web development and software development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, tools, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and deployment with AWS or other cloud platforms.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
• Expert in building software applications and generative AI assistants on SaaS products such as Power Platform, JIRA, and Copilot Studio.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) for hosting, scaling, and securing applications.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and modern UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of other generative AI assistant technologies like Blue Prism, UiPath, etc.
