About the position
The Software Application Programmer II at Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is responsible for back-end application programming primarily using C# and .NET within a Microsoft SharePoint O365 environment. This role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications while providing light programming support for database development. The position requires a high level of technical competence across all phases of application programming activities, with a focus on solving complex problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations.
Responsibilities
- Back-end application programming using C# and .NET.
- Provide light programming support for database development using C# 6+ with Blazor.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs.
- Work competently at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.
Requirements
- Must have an active Secret clearance; TS with SCI eligibility is acceptable.
- Must have an active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent); a temporary 6-month waiver may be granted to obtain this certification.
- 5+ years' experience as a back-end developer with C# and .NET.
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.
- Some experience with database development, C# 6+ with Blazor (server and client side) preferred.
- Degree preferred; JSON and/or Java experience are a plus; SharePoint experience would be a plus.
