About the position

The Software Application Support Analyst is responsible for providing support for software applications and developing new applications as needed. This role involves consolidating financial and operational data, implementing systems to streamline processes, and ensuring application performance through clean coding and troubleshooting. The position requires collaboration with end-users to identify issues and provide effective solutions, along with providing technical support when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide software application support and create new applications as needed.
• Develop a data repository to consolidate financial and operational data from various business units.
• Implement a robust bar code scanning system to streamline processes.
• Write and implement clean, scalable code to ensure efficient application performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve issues and improve application stability.
• Perform thorough application testing and follow change management disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
• Collaborate with end-users to identify issues and develop effective solutions or workarounds.
• Provide PC Technical Support when needed (break/fix, software installations, technical support).

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with SQL, X, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and object-oriented software engineering principles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• 3-5 years of experience in IT programming or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint and PowerBI.
• Active Directory and Office 365 experience.
