About the position

As a Software Architect at Outside Analytics, you will play a crucial role in developing system architectures and overseeing system design activities for complex systems. This position involves integrating multiple technologies and providing architectural guidelines to ensure the successful delivery of digital transformation solutions. You will also mentor technical teams and contribute to program Technical Baseline Reviews, ensuring that the architectural decisions align with customer needs and project goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex software design activities integrating multiple technologies.
• Assist subsystem and program leads with providing architectural guidelines for software design activities.
• Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies.
• Be responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future technological activities.
• Conduct architecture trades to find balanced technical, schedule, and cost solutions for the customer.
• Contribute to and support program Technical Baseline Reviews.
• Mentor technical teams comprised of Systems, Software, UI/UX, and IV&T Engineers through the full product lifecycle.

Requirements

• DOD Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance is necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in identifying technologies and applications and defining solutions for secure architectures.
• Experience working full system lifecycle between product teams to decompose system-level requirements and establish program features for development.
• Experience providing technical oversight and coordination of engineering resources to evaluate and resolve issues.
• Working knowledge/skills in C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and ReactJS.
• Working knowledge/skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
