About the position

The Software Architect for the ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) is a senior-level role focused on transforming payment processing projects. The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of the payment processing system, specifically within the ISO 20022 framework. This position requires a deep understanding of various payment processing architectures and hands-on experience with ACI MTS components.

Responsibilities

  • Transform payment processing projects as a senior architect.
  • Oversee end-to-end deployment and configuration of the payment processing system.
  • Maintain and support the payment processing system, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Deploy and test patches in ACI MTS, including Service Pack style and hot fixes.
  • Utilize knowledge of payment processing architecture for SWIFT CBPR+, CHIPS, and FedWire.

Requirements

  • Senior architect level experience with a focus on payment processing systems.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end deployment and configuration of payment processing systems.
  • Thorough understanding of payments processing architecture for SWIFT CBPR+, CHIPS, and FedWire.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 20022 standards, particularly with ACI MTS components.
  • Proficient in Oracle 11g and above, including database objects and replication.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting (bash, ksh) and familiarity with awk is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of IBM MQ, XML, and XSDs is required.
  • Proficient in Java.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data models for UPF and core MTS.
