About the position

As a Software Architect for airbag systems at Bosch, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions for critical safety systems. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of airbag systems, making it a pivotal position in the development of automotive safety technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design the customer library, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Develop, analyze, and refine software requirements to align with project objectives.
  • Make critical technical decisions impacting the system's architecture and design.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team as the internal primary point of contact for software-related questions.
  • Effectively collaborate with global teams to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with C language, Compiler, linker, and debugger.
  • 3+ years of experience with microcontrollers.
  • 3+ years of experience in Automotive software development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working on global projects with global teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers.
  • Ability to explain and train on complex technical problems.
  • Familiarity with Analytic Methods (8D).
  • Knowledge of Process Knowledge (CMMI, A-SPICE, CC-PS processes).
  • Understanding of System Overview (including HW and Sensors).
  • Knowledge of AB-ECU DOORS (Requirement Management Tool).
  • Experience with ALM-CCM/CQ (Change Management Tool).
  • Experience with ALM-SCM/MKS (Software Configuration Management Tool).
  • Familiarity with Rhapsody/AMEOS (Software Design Tool).
  • Knowledge of QAC.
