About the position

The position involves leading and driving large-scale projects within TikTok's Global E-commerce platform from a technical perspective. The role requires collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in rapid product development, as well as designing and architecting solutions and roadmaps for various R&D teams to achieve project goals. The candidate will align with product and organizational objectives, coordinating with teams to deliver key results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive large scale projects within our Global E-commerce platform from tech perspective.
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high quality solution in rapid product development.
• Design and architect solutions and roadmaps for multiple R&D teams to achieve project goals.
• Align with product and organizational objectives, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver key results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in e-commerce or related domain, with distributed systems, storage systems, and other relevant technologies.
• Strong proficiency with a general purpose programming language (ie. Java, C/C++, Go, Python).
• Proven problem-solving skills and abilities to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior working experience as an architect in large scale e-commerce or related internet companies.
• Hands-on experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
