About the position

The Software Architect position is a hybrid role based in New York, NY, focused on designing and implementing advanced data solutions within the insurance industry. The role requires extensive experience in data modeling, machine learning, and data governance, with a strong emphasis on developing data pipelines and data warehouses. The architect will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven projects over a duration of 30 months.

Responsibilities

• Design and create DataMart and Data Warehouse using Star and Snowflake Schemas.
• Implement machine learning, predictive, and AI systems.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end ETL data pipelines using IBI Data Migrator or similar tools.
• Document and maintain data governance programs, ensuring data quality and lineage.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize database design and implementation.

Requirements

• 84 months of Data Modeling experience in the insurance industry.
• 84 months of experience designing and implementing ML, Predictive, and AI systems.
• 84 months of experience with TIBCO Spotfire Analyst, Web Player using Iron Python, Java Scripts, and R.
• 84 months of experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining ETL data pipelines.
• 24 months of experience in developing data warehouses in Workers Compensation Insurance industry.
• 84 months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including triggers, stored procedures, and advanced query optimization.
• 48 months of experience in implementing data governance programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
