About the position

The Software Architect/Lead Developer at Auxiant is responsible for leading a team of developers throughout the entire project life cycle. This role involves designing the high-level structure of software systems, making key technology decisions, and ensuring that solutions meet project requirements and business needs. The position requires strong leadership skills to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment while overseeing the development of clean, scalable, and efficient code.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of developers through the entire project life cycle.
• Design the high-level structure of software systems.
• Make key decisions about technology, components, and scalability.
• Work with stakeholders during the requirement gathering phase to understand business and product requirements.
• Oversee, coordinate, and approve work scope to be executed by the team.
• Delegate work to developers.
• Communicate with team leads, stakeholders, and other teams on all aspects of projects under development.
• Develop clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Work with team lead on implementing new technologies and proofs of concept.
• Maintain code and procedures documentation for projects.
• Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Participate in training of new team members.

Requirements

• Proficiency in web development technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database design and development with a strong focus on scalability and high availability (MySQL).
• Experience with source control systems and version control.
• Working knowledge of containerized, distributed environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
