About the position

The Software Architect/Lead Developer at Auxiant is responsible for leading a team of developers throughout the entire project life cycle. This role involves designing the high-level structure of software systems, making key technology decisions, and ensuring that solutions meet project requirements and business needs. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and effective communication with stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of developers through the entire project life cycle.
• Design the high-level structure of software systems.
• Make key decisions about technology, components, and scalability.
• Work with stakeholders during the requirement gathering phase to understand business and product requirements.
• Oversee, coordinate, and approve work scope to be executed by the team.
• Delegate work to developers.
• Communicate with team leads, stakeholders, and other teams on all aspects of projects under development.
• Develop clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Work with team lead on implementing new technologies and proofs of concept.
• Maintain code and procedures documentation for projects.
• Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Participate in training of new team members.

Requirements

• Proficiency in web development technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database design and development with a strong focus on scalability and high availability (MySQL).
• Experience with source control systems and version control.
• Working knowledge of containerized, distributed environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
